Slovakia's Paradise is a national park worth visiting. It begins at Levoca in the south east Slovakia; its landscapes essentially covered with conifer forests are less majestic than those of the High Tatras. The park is 4,165 feet high on Mount Ondrejisko. But you will discover several traditional villages like Dedinky found by a lake. A little further, Sucha Bela footpath leads to the Dobinska ice cave, which is covered by a thick layer of ice throughout the year, but brightened up by lighting. Temperature in winter and summer is -1°C so do not forget to cover up! From Dedinky, several hiking trails take you around the region.
