The eastern-Slovakia Museum in Kosice

The main building of the museum has Middle Age statues, paintings and icons, and 15th and 16th century painted furniture. The second building shelters Kosice's treasure ? prehistoric earthenware jars and potteries and a vase containing close to 3,000 gold coins. These coins were minted in the 17th century in several European countries. An extremely beautiful Renaissance golden chain is the last piece of the treasure.
