Before the civil war, Hargeysa - former capital of British Somaliland - was a beautiful touristic city with strong tribal culture, a museum, theatre and hotels. Bombings have caused enormous damage. Which is unfortunate - its altitude made it one of the most beautiful areas of Somalia.
