Northern desert mountains and plateaus are frequented by Nomads and their herds of goats, sheep and camels. In this region, the best landscapes are between Hargeysa and Berbera - and along the Berbera-Burao road leading to the coastal plain in the central plateau. Ogo mountains peaking 2 660 m along the coasts of the Midjourtin mountains.
