The peninsular coast, the meeting point of the Indian Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean, offers pleasant sea-side resorts, but the water there is cooler, often freezing. On the western part, you can visit the West Coast National Park, where the scenery is magnificent and the coastline reveals sand dunes adorned with wild flowers. It has very popular sea-side resorts, such as Yzerfontein and Langebaan.
