At 87 miles to the north of Johannesburg, in Bophuthatswana, the Pilanesberg National Park offers glorious scenery, between the savannah of Kalahari and the savannah of Transvaal and an impressive diversity of fauna including black antelope, koudou, hartebeest and tsessebes. The fifth largest in South Africa, the Pilanesberg National Park is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful parks in the country.
