I haven't visited the South Africa region yet.

To the south, the province of Cape, enclosed between the Indian and the Atlantic Ocean, offers a great variety of panoramic views. The climate is mild the year round, making the region an attractive place to stay. The beaches along the coast, although wild, spread over an area of about 620 miles. The cities also provide points of interest. These include Tulbagh and its 62 historic monuments, Kaaga Kamma and its traditions, the Victorian village of Matjiesfontein (classified as historic monument), Worcester with its wines and drinks, without forgetting the small fisherman's villages on the western coast which are rich in history and myth. The views of the Western Cape are all spectacular: the Rose and Wine Valley of Robertson, the red hills of Calitzdorp or the lagoon of Langebaan.
Karoo
To the north-east of Cape Town, you can see the vast semi-desert region of Karoo, which covers nearly the entire country's area. It has a certain resemblance to the parks in the west of America, yet with richer flora and fauna. The province offers numerous major attractions such as the Mountain Zebra National Park (one of the rarest animals in the world), the Karoo National Park (the largest of its kind, with 82, 000 acres and 61 mammal species), as well as majestic botanical gardens. Do not forget to visit the city of Graff-Reinet to view its amazing architecture.
