Jeungdo Island is located in the Sinan region and has been referred to as 'Slow City' since 2008. It is, in fact, the 7th largest island of the 1,004 in the region and is your archetypal ecological destination. Indeed, the island specialises in salt production, its salt farm at Taepyeong being the largest one in Korea. At low tide, the beach here is very vast. The island is also renowned for its fish, such as trout, shellfish, and other seafood that can only live in the clean waters near an island beach.
