Benalmàdena is divided into three distinctive parts: the village of Benalmàdena located in the mountains, which has still kept its authenticity; Arroyo de la Miel, a booming commercial centre thanks to strong tourist development; and Banalmàdena Costa, a large marina which attracts a diversity of visitors. Having fun is the order of the day here, namely at the Tivoli World Theme Park and the Torrequebrada Casino, which are part of a luxury hotel and sports complex. In terms of culture, Benalmadena has a fascinating archaeological museum and an aquarium with lots of local fauna and flora.
