Built for the Iberian-American exhibition of 1929, the Praza de Espana is a huge 600 ft long semi-circle lined with an impressive brick building, one of the marvels of the city. Its blue ceramic tiles, called azulejos, tell the story of each of Spain's provinces, in alphabetical order.
