The Anaga Massif is found north of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Hiking routes, for which you can get maps at the tourist office, will take you to the heart of diverse vegetation where you will discover numerous bird species. The forest of Las Mercedes will give you the opportunity to enjoy some wonderful views from the Mirador Pico del Inglés, a natural balcony some 3,200 ft high.
