A succession of various landscapes and bright white villages, Andalusia also has another aspect to it: the Moorish castles that can be observed along the Spanish-Portuguese border, between the Sierra Morena to the north and the Sierra Nevada to the south. A homage to Mudéjar architecture and found only in Andalusia, these castles are a testimony to the talent of the Moors.
