The Pilar i Joan Miro Foundation (Majorca)

Created by the initiative of Miro's widow after his death in 1982, the Pilar i Joan Miro Foundation was installed in the the family's former residence, which was redesigned by the architect Rafael Moneo. The museum was inaugurated in 1992. Here you can discover the artist's studio, where unfinished paintings as well as a permanent collection of his work are still hanging. The museum also includes a shop, a library and an auditorium.
