Sri Lanka is home to a vast diversity of landscapes: paddy fields, the African savannah in the South-East, where the Yala reserve can also be found, mountains in the Centre and tea plantations (the most renowned station is Nurawa Eliya with its very British charm), and the region of lakes surrounding Kandy... Without forgetting the jungle in the north of the cultural triangle, made up of the archeological sites of Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa and Kandy.
