Right in the north, on the Jaffna peninsula at the heart of the Tamil community, magnificient shaded beaches play host to seabirds. On Delft island, wild horses live in total freedom. The most exciting are the beaches of Casuarina Beach and Manalkudu. However, several small islands scattered around the peninsula also offer tranquility and relaxation to infrequent visitors.
