Beaches The beaches of Saint Barthélemy are as numerous as they are varied. Whether you wish to go diving, relax, or savour the view, there is beach to match the activity. © Ludovic Maisant
What would Saint Barts be without its paradisiacal beaches? Anse Public Beach, near Gustavia, offers a beautiful panorama of Gros Ilets, a stone's throw away from the coast. Anse Cayes Beach, lined with coconut and gum trees, is wild and battered by large rolling waves which are great for surfing. One of the island's most beautiful beaches (where you can also surf) is located on Anse des Flamands, at the foot of a hill. Anse Colombier Beach, which is lined with an impressive coconut grove, attracts diving fanatics who uncover one of the most beautiful seabeds in the area. Anse du Gouverneur Beach is perfect if you are in search of solitude, whereas Anse du Grand Cul de Sac is ideal for windsurfing.
