Stalls in the souks sell food, spices, handicrafts and jewels. Tourists will enjoy the basketry and cabinet making and they'll love the gold and silverware. Be vigilant though, do not purchase any monkey skin-based products. Monkeys are protected by the World Wildlife Act and hunting them is prohibited! Shops are open Saturday to Thursday: 8:00am-13:30am and 17:30am-20:00am.
