Stockholm has managed the feat of being a capital city where authenticity lives on. The Venice of Scandinavia dazzles its visitors with the charm of its little streets, where the traditional shops are very popular. The Royal Palace is one of the must-see sights in the city. It is still home to the royal family but you can nevertheless visit hundreds of its rooms. Art lovers will be delighted with the various museums in the capital. However, Stockholm is also an ideal destination for urbanites looking for some greenery, since the city's green lung, Djugarden, is home to a bird and animal nature reserve. Let's not forget about the other cities. In Gothenburg you can relax along the canals or opt for some culture by going to the museums. The Gothenburg Maritime Museum is particularly interesting. With its many historical offerings, Uppsala takes visitors on a journey through time. A Gothic cathedral, castles and artificial buttes promise a fascinating stay. Malmo, which is decisively more modern, attracts visitors for its beaches and numerous green spaces. A little more dynamic, it is the economic centre of the south of the country.
