Thanks to its privileged position, close to Mount Kilimandjaro and Serengeti National Park, today the city of Arusha is the Tanzanian tourist capital. As the point of departure of several expeditions, it houses most of the touring companies in the country. With about 250,000 people, the city offers a lot of activities and is a colourful and vibrant place. In addition to its privileged position, though you won't find any particular attraction, you will enjoy the lively streets crowded by pedestrians, traders and vehicles.
