Dar es Salaam Dar es Salaam

Except Dar es Salaam, all other Tanzanian cities are similar to one another: some avenues, purple jacarandas and red flowers (November-December) the towns a countryside atmosphere. However, there are few interesting activities: you can stroll about in the markets, meet Tanzanians learning English, offering a safari or letting a room for the night. Take a bus and leave the town as the interesting sites such as parks, mountains or beaches are elsewhere.
