Leaving from Zanzibar City, do not miss the famous 'spice tour' which consists of half a day's walk through the spice plantations. Clove flowers, henna, lemongrass, cinnamon, there are so many spices that you can easily pass them by without recognising them if you choose to do the walk without the help of a guide. For this reason, try to get involved in one of the many organised excursions.
