The land of monsoons, Thailand has but two seasons. From November through to February, the season is dry but warm. This is the best time to travel as you'll most likely be welcomed by blue skies and temperatures that hover around 25°C. In the north, at night, temperatures can go below 10°C. March to April is a sort of sweltering 'inter-season' where temperatures will climb up to 35°C until the rains arrive around the end of May. The south has no inter-season but generally, the deeper south you go, the longer the rainy season lasts. The rainy season usually lasts between June and October, with September the worst month for sightseeing due to heavy rain.
