It's not without reason that Thailand has been nicknamed 'the country of smiles'. The hospitality and welcome there is truly exceptional. Add to this magnificent landscapes, a rich and exciting culture and miles and miles of beaches. What more could you want? The tsunami of 2004 is but a distant memory on both a material and touristic level and you there is no longer a reason to keep yourself from enjoying this destination. There is accommodation to suit all tastes and pockets from family hotels to more intimate ones. Each has its own charm, which just leaves youto do the choosing.
