Walk through the Vatican Gardens. During your walk, take note of the Casina de Pie IV, a charming summer residence from the 16th century. Nearby, enjoy the freshness of the Eagle fountain, emblem of the Borghese. To the west, the Lourdes grotto is a replica of where the Virgin Mary is said to have appeared to Saint Bernadette. On the east side of the Vatican museums, observe the Galion fountain, a reproduction of a 17th century vessel done in lead, brass and copper.
