There are two climatic zones. In the north, drought holds sway from November to March, while the rainy season takes over from April to October. In the south, the main dry season, which goes from December to March, is tempered by the relatively humid atmosphere. For several weeks, the sky may remain shrouded in mist and loaded with dust raised by the Harmattan, a northerly wind. The months of July and August are equally dry. Rain falls during the rest of the year, and mostly between April and June. People prefer the drought of November, December and January (18 to 32°C) that allows you to avoid the stifling heatwave.
