Kara

Kara is the second largest city in the country and the capital of the Kabiyes, "stone farmers" who tend to their gardens carefully along the river running across the city. They live in Soukalas, small round huts with conical roofs joined to one another by low walls. Its main attractions are the markets and the handicraft produced by the neighbouring villages.
