The South-West plateaux

The plateau region is a mountainous area lying in Togo's southwest. The landscapes of the Kpalime region are amongst the loveliest in the country, with their charming tropical forest, waterfalls and teak, coffee and cocoa plantations. The peak of Mount Agou (3234 ft) offers a panoramic view of the entire region. In the Badou region, the Akloa Falls pour down a valley flanked by exotic orchards. To appreciate all of this beautiful scenery at close quarters, you can stay at the Benedictine monastery on Danyi plateau.
