Located in Laval sur Doulon, a small hamlet in the heart of the Livradois National Park, in France, this collection of three sumptuously furnished yurts offers luxury camping in a peaceful woodland setting.

Placed on raised wooden platforms, the yurts all feature verandahs with seating areas including tables and a hammock. Solar panels provide ample lighting, and outside each yurt is an ensuite wash basin with luxury composting toilet. A short walk away from the yurts are individual hot showers, one for each yurt so guests are allocated their own private shower.

Guests can also enjoy the exclusive use of a stone barn featuring a communal self-catering area with kitchen facilities consisting of gas hobs, fridge and microwave. A continental-style breakfast is served here each morning, and at night the area is also used for home-cooked meals.

Although there is an allocated play area on site with rope bridges and secret dens, nothing can beat 20 acres of private woodland to provide a natural playground for children to explore.

Your hosts at Auvergne Naturelle also run various courses including bushcraft, a great way to enjoy the beautiful environment of the unspoilt Auvergne region.
