If you've got the time then get a load of this 18 night mega cruise across the Baltic Sea. As well as getting acquainted with Scandinavian capitals Copenhagen and Stockholm (Denmark and Sweden, respectively), you'll venture into the Gulf of Bothnia, the northernmost arm of the Baltic Sea. In Copenhagen make sure to check out the boutiques of the city's emerging fashion designers, and to sample the culinary talents of local up and coming chefs. You'll also visit St Petersburg, Russia's second largest city and a place of major cultural importance thanks to its multitude of museums, libraries, theatres, concert halls and galleries, including The Hermitage, the largest art museum in the world. St Petersburg, where you'll be for two nights and three days, also boasts a UNESCO World Heritage listing. Tallinn is also on the itinerary; this city, chosen as this year's UNESCO Culture Capital of Europe, is known for its picturesque old town centre and is becoming more and more popular with British city-breakers. As well as calling into the Finnish towns of Kemi and Vaasa, you'll also visit Gdynia (Poland) and two port towns in Germany, including Kiel Canal. The cruise sets off from Harwich.
