In almost any other place on the planet, a 63-storey hotel tower would be the star feature of the skyline. But here in Dubai, where money is no object and extravagance has no end, The Address Downtown is just another skyscraper (not even in the top ten tallest buildings!). Nonetheless, it is a remarkable hotel with stunning décor, magnificent views and eight food and drink outlets. Located in the centre of the city, opposite the world's tallest tower, the Burj Khalifa, and the Dubai Fountain, the ace up the Address' sleeve is its rooftop bar Neos. The sky lounge is located on the 63rd floor of the building and has sweeping panoramas of the emirate. One of the city's hottest hang outs, attracting the rich and famous, it is a great place from which to view the sunset. It is open every day from 6pm until 2.30am and there is a DJ most nights to provide a soundtrack to your evening in the contemporary Art Deco surrounds. Just a word of warning however, the bar is a favourite haunt too of prostitutes, so if you are a lone male drinking at the bar, be wary of any woman striking up a conversation!
