The consumer advice magazine Which? has revealed the best and worst hotel chains after a study involving 6,000 Which? readers.
Participants were asked to rate 34 UK hotel chains based on 4 criteria: cleanliness, customer service, location and value for money.
The three lowest ranking hotel chains were Travelodge with 46 percent satisfaction, Britannia Hotels with 42 percent and Comfort Inn with 41 percent.
Warner Leisure Hotels was revealed to be the best hotel chain for customer satisfaction with a score of 79 percent. According to AOL, one respondent claimed to have given Warner a high score as it was "child-free and luxurious".
Premier Inn also set an example for other budget hotels, scoring highly on customer service and cleanliness.
According to Which?, the best ranking hotels for overall customer satisfaction also scored highly on customer service, cleanliness and a decent breakfast - showing the qualities that customers value the most.
