Cape Town for the WC on RMS St. Helena

If you are heading to Cape Town

for England's opening World Cup match against Algeria on 18th June, you may want to consider an alternative way to reach the city of Table Mountain. Rather than taking a regular flight and having to worry about hotel reservations, why not consider sailing?from Ascension Island? From £1,241 per person you can fly out of Brize Norton with the RAF on 7th June, landing on Ascension Island the following day. While on the remote island take the opportunity to go scuba diving and relax on the beach before heading off on the eight day sail to Cape Town on 9th June. You will be taken to the administrative capital of South Africa aboard RMS St. Helena, one of the world's last working Royal Mai ships. It was built in 1989 expressly to serve the British Overseas Territory island of St. Helena.

You will dock in Cape Town on 17th June, the day before the big match and will be able to stay on board for two nights. The price also includes the one-way fare from Oxfordshire, one night's accommodation on Ascension Island and all meals on board the RMS St. Helena during the voyage. Once docked breakfast only will be included.
