Over 70,000 customers were left in the lurch as budget travel firm, Kiss Flights collapses. The British-based company operated flights to Greece, Egypt, Turkey and the Canary Islands.
The Civil Aviation Authority confirmed that the holidaymakers who have booked trips through the company would get home as normal.
A spokesman for the authority added: "We are picking up the pieces. People abroad will be fine.
Customers who are currently abroad can contact the CAA for more information on 0044 161 444 5811. General advice about refunds under the Atol scheme should go to the CAA website or call
0844 571 7262.
"We will make sure everyone will be able to come back from their holidays.
"We will also make arrangements so that all of the people who were Atol (Air Travel Organisers' Licensing) protected will received full refunds. That will be the vast majority."
