The troubled airline Mexicana has reinstated its flights from London Gatwick to Mexico City, following their suspension for two days due to grave financial problems.
The Madrid - Mexico City route has also resumed.
After the carrier filed for bankruptcy last week, it suspended 18 routes on Monday in a bid to reduce operational costs.
A spokesman for Mexicana said, "Although flights will be reduced to a minimum over coming days, the airline and its employees are determined to make an effort to continue operating out of concern for passengers."
"It is hoped an agreement will be reached with union leaders and that additional resources can be obtained to secure the financial viability of the carrier."
