Korean Air has announced it will start flights to Seoul from Gatwick later this year. The carrier will initially fly three times a week from the airport, in addition to its daily Heathrow service.
A Boeing 777 will be used on the route and will provide connections on to China, Japan, South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
"We are pleased to announce our UK route frequency increase with the introduction of London's Gatwick Airport," said Jeong Soo Park, general manager at Korean Air's London office. "In addition to increasing the choice for our business travellers, we also look forward to welcoming leisure passengers looking to travel to Asia and beyond".
