After having announced that it will start going daily to New York from June 2011, Iceland Express has also confirmed that it will be adding three extra American routes to its schedule from later this year. Between 2nd and 24th October 2010 an Orlando service will operate every Saturday from London Gatwick, returning the following Sunday. One-way fares, including tax, will begin at £224. Then, from 10th June next year a Chicago service will commence, flying each Friday from the same airport, with fares starting from £221. The third service, to Boston, will begin on 13th June 2011 and will fly four times a week from Monday to Thursday. Prices here start at £231.
All of the flights entail a stopover in Reykjavik, ideal for a short city break with a difference before arriving in the US. The airline's Winnipeg route will also be relaunched temporarily from June 2011.
