With the average daily hotel room rate in London during 2011 rising to £113 and a further expected increase of 32% on rates during the 2012 Olympics, holidaymakers could be forgiven for pushing a UK visit further down their list whilst they save up. Umi hotels are showing tourists that they can stay in London cheaply, by slashing their usual budget prices even further.
Every day during January 2012, there will be rooms available for just £20.12 per night, at each of the hotel group's city locations: London, Brighton and Moscow. Bookings must be placed on each hotel's direct website using the promotion code "umi2012" and the rate includes a continental breakfast. It's first come, first served from today and there's no catch, it's just a goodwill offer from umi hotels to say "Happy New Year".
