Made by hand and with no pottery wheel Berber pottery is the fruit of an astounding art. The objects (plates, vases, soup tureens, animal figurines, etc) are moulded from clay paste and dried in open air before being baked in the oven. Thereafter, they are decorated with black and brown geometrical designs shades reminiscent of the colour of Tunisia's earth.
