Tunisia is an ideal destination thanks to its good weather conditions all year round. Winters are mild, and even cool along the coastlne (11°C at Tunis and 12°C at Djerba, in January). Summer in the South and the back country is scorching, making these areas hardly accessible (temperatures easily rise to 40°C). The best time to visit Tunisia is in Spring as from mid-April (16°C at Tunis and 18°C at Djerba) and in autumn as from September (21°C at Tunis and 24°C at Djerba). Water temperatures range from 10°C to 15°C in winter and can easily attain 23°C in summer.
