Former barracks of the French army, Fort Ghilane is surrounded by a palm plantation set up at the beginning of the 1950s. At the source of this curtain of greenery is a spring, that gave its name to the fort. Today, Ksar Ghilane offers a welcome rest after a day in the desert. Its basins filled with green water invite you to a swim in the twilight created by the surrounding trees.
