Turkish handicraft is rich and varied. Of course, you will find the popular kilims. Do not be fooled by the quality and price of these carpets that are definitely cheaper than elsewhere. The prices of the kilims basically depend on the complexity of the design and the material used (silk, rayon or cotton). Semi-precious stones are offered at very attractive prices, as well as hides and leather of a sometimes dubious quality. Shops open from 9:30am to 7:00pm from Monday to Saturday and are closed on Sundays.
