Absolutely pristine and hotter than those of the Aegean coast, the shores of the Mediterranean, from Fethiye to Antalya, are good for coasting by caïque (a type of wooden fishing boat). Short cruises aboard caïques are the main local attraction. Another Mediterranean attraction worth seeing are the Lycian necropolises resting under the olive trees (the Kas tombs) or at the bottom of the sea (Kehova tombs).
