In Achkhabad, the Fine Arts museum on Makhtumkuli avenue, angling that of Gogol, has a good collection of carpets, one of the prides of Turkmenistan, which has become master in carpet designing. So much that carpets are designed on the national flag. Notice, among other objects, the biggest carpet in the world, close to 200 mē and weighing 865 kg, as well as paintings byTurkmen artists. This same building is home to the ethnographic museum where the most curious can learn of the country's interesting history.
