Kabale

Southwest of the capital city, near the border with Rwanda, the city of Kabale shoots up at an altitude of 6,560 ft. It is a region of forests, lakes and terrace-cultivated hills. You can visit Lake Bunyoni there, a remarkable site which has numerous little islands and on which it is possible to take a boat trip, thanks to the boats from the surrounding villages.
