The climate in the United Arab Emirates is sub-tropical dry. Winter is warm and sunny: from 10 to 30°C with occasional sand storms and brutal temperature drops at night. Summer (from May to September) is scorching: temperatures can reach 48°C and humidity levels can be as high as 90%. As for the sea, the temperature is around 25°C in winter and up to 30°C in summer. The best season to visit is from January to May: the heat is bearable and the landscape tends to be greener with vegetation.
