Stansted Airport has reported no disruption to flights yesterday, despite strikes by baggage handlers working for airline service company Swissport. Passengers were advised to check in as normal. Members of the GMB will strike next from 5:30am on Saturday until 5:30am on Monday and from 5:30am on 2 June until 5:30am on 6 June. Ryanair has said its flights are operating as usual but warned of possible
Ryanair passengers are being informed that the budget airline's website will be closed from 10pm on Friday 18 May until midnight on Saturday, the following day. Flights will be unaffected, but passengers are being advised to print off their boarding passes before 4pm on Friday. The airline charges passengers £60 per person if they have not printed their boarding passes before arriving at the airport.
