The day starts with a heavy breakfast. Ulster Breakfast is made up of slices of black and white pudding, sausages, fried tomatoes and sunny-side-up eggs, accompanied with toasts. Wth a full stomach, you can go on soup and sandwich bread (the favorite of the people of Northern Ireland). Dinner is much heavier: meat or fish served with irish potatoes and peas. At Belfast, several gourmet restaurants are inventing new recipes: there, you can treat yourself to an eclectic cuisine that boldly blends local products with flavours of the world.
