Constructed in 1894 under the reign of Victoria, the Tower Bridge is equipped with a drawbridge for the passage of heavy ton ships. Its Gothic-styled twin towers are connected by a footbridge offering a splendid view of the Thames. You can access it by taking an elevator or the 300-step staircase The bridge also shelters a museum which tells the story of its construction.
