Renowned for its gay-scene, San Francisco's Pride festival is the largest annual celebration on the city's social calendar and will be taking place on 23-24 June 2012. The official name of the event is the San Francisco Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Transgender Pride Celebration Parade and it not only commemorates gay and lesbian communities in the bay and beyond, but also acts as the largest fundraising day
