One of the most luxurious areas in Los Angeles, this city was immortalised by a television series produced for teenagers in the 90s. These teenagers later came as adults to visit this famous place. Many people don't know, though, that Beverly Hills is not a district of Los Angeles but a city in itself. Admittedly, geographically it is within the limits of Los Angeles County, but Beverly Hills prides itself on remaining an independent city and boasts being the safest and richest one in California.
This "elite" city is composed of several streets divided into a residential zone, home to many Hollywood personalities and stars, and a zone dedicated to designer luxury boutiques. The most important ones compete on Rodeo Drive, a sort of Californian Champs-Elysées or Fifth Avenue, and almost make an art out of window-dressing.
An independent and slightly snobby city, Beverly Hills prides itself in its elegance and small size, which means it can be discovered on foot. It obviously offers a wide choice of trendy bars and restaurants and is a destination visitors choose for its shops and its allure.
